Where do I even start with this one?!
First and foremost - my client & friend that I love dearly, Ronny. We've known each other for about a decade and she's someone I've always looked up to. She always has a smile on her face and takes time to appreciate the moments in life. She's a flower-child, nature lover to the core and always says yes to an adventure. This was our fifth session together; the others being a sunrise session, a family session, professional headshots and exploring a river.
This Lavender Field session did not disappoint. I was internally a little edgy being surrounded by so much buzzing from the bees (I hate bugs,) but the photos were well worth it. Purple Haze by T. Swift was playing in my head all week while editing.
Now, for the location. Rogish Farms is located in Chesterland, OH and one of my favorite places for sessions. I've hosted Christmas Mini Sessions and Sunflower Mini Sessions there, and every time I'm in awe and think about how lucky we are to have this gem in Northeast Ohio. The sweetest couple owns this property and they offer opportunities and events for the public to enjoy what they've created throughout most of the year.
If you're ever in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. Even if it's just to grab a bouquet by their roadside stand.
I felt like the black and white photos needed their own little gallery within this blog, so make sure you scroll down to check those out too!
